International Canine Semen Bank-Grass Valley is owned by
Bridgett Higginbotham, RVT Bridgett has owned this business
since 2000.  Located in the beautiful foothills in Grass Valley,
California, we have mobile labs at several AKC licensed shows
around California, and some surrounding states.  In addition to the
shows, we offer clinics for canine semen collection, freezing and
storage in Grass Valley. Also included in our services are: Artificial
inseminations, assistance with surgical implants ( we have several
veterinarians we work with), collection and shipping of fresh chilled
semen, progesterone testing and timing for bitches and ultrasound
for pregnancy.
We also have supplies available for sale for all your reproduction
needs, including AKC DNA kits!

Bridgett has been a licensed veterinary technician for the last 20 years
and was working in veterinary hospitals in Grass Valley until she started
the ICSB franchise.  Even as a veterinary technician in a hospital setting,
she always had a special interest in reproduction and studied all the
semen freezing techniques and timing protocols. Other
accomplishments to her credit include:

In the last 2 months, we have had litters in Australia for
Standard Poodles, American Staffordshire Terriers, and
Norwegian Elkhounds! One litter resulted in 14 puppies!!

All employees of ICSB Grass Valley are well versed in the dog world.
Our staff of veterinarians, reproduction technicians and reproduction
support staff include dog breeders, AKC judges and members of the
Theriogeniology Society for canine reproduction. We have recently
added to our staff, Dr Michelle Capen, a member of the
Theriogeniology Society.
Dr Capen is excited to be working with our breeders and clients and
brings a new level of excellence to the services we offer. In addition to
our regular services, we now offer Transcervical implants, surgical
implants, ultrasounds for diagnostics and pregnancy confirmation,
full reproduction evaluation and work ups, both on stud dogs and bitches.
